Day one continued.
On our way to Goodland we took a side trip to Lucas, KS to see the "Garden of Eden". It is an interesting sight. S. P. Dinsmoor must have been quite a character. He apparently had a difference of opinion with Moses so he decided to tell the "real" story of the Garden of Eden. All of the work, to include his house, is constructed with stone and concrete. He did most of the work himself . Should you ever travel this way, you might want to spend an hour or so seeing the sights for yourself. Enjoy.

Okay. More like the Garden of Horror if you ask me. I did like the American flag though. I'll pass.
Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)
Kev and I watched a show on pbs about him and his garden once. I have always wanted to go see it all in person. Thanks for sharing with us. :)
Sandee, it does have that effect on one.
Shannon, you're welcome.
He was a person to be reckoned with.
