#82 New Atrocities(?) Uncovered in Iraq

Too bad we have to be there for the reasons we are.

Here is another view of the folks we have sent there to help the Iraqi's. These are excellent examples of serving others, caring about those you serve and sharing the love in your heart. You gotta love the troops.

It is a pity we don't see more of this in our daily reports instead of all the racism, hatred and anomosity that is usually declared.

Thanks for this Jack. Wish they were home doing this for their own, or their neighbours children.

There is a whole lot of tongue in cheek about the captions to these photos.

If you ever want to get to know what our troops are really like, study these photos.

It was my experience in Viet Nam that the troops would go out of their way to interact in a positive way with the children. There were a few occasions when the children were sent on missions to harm the Americans, but that was the exception rather than the rule.

I can remember Vietnamese youngsters wanting to touch the hair on my arms. They don't have much body hair, so when they see someone with it they are naturally curious.

I am sure that the GI's in these photos are remembering the kids they left/know back home. It is a wonderful way for them to maintain some sense of normalcy in a maddening world.
