We spent four nights in Vienna. Naturally we were able to see lots of sights. It took us about three hours to get to Vienna, well, at least that was the projected time from MapQuest. It actually took longer because of stops in Salzburg. We didn't get to our hotel in Vienna until after dark. We stayed at the Hotel Bristol. Our room was very comfortable. We never did have a drink at the bar.
On the 9th we visited Schloss Belvedere. There are two palaces on the grounds. The gardens between the two are spectacular. You would be amazed at the sculptures that adorn the buildings and the grounds. I will show some of them here.

You and your hubby should do just that. We had a wonderful time. Being with good friends made it even better.
Finally I got the time to read through every recent post and enjoy every picture, love the scenery especially :)
Oh the spider hanging from the nose/pole is so creative!
