#598 We Made It to California

Yesterday was a rather long day. We arrived in Phoenix around 4 PM and called my daughter. We arranged to meet them for dinner. We had a rather late dinner and brought each other up to date. She is doing well and getting an AA degree in hypno-therapy and is a life coach.

Her children and grand children are doing well. Her daughter's husband is in Iraq, her oldest son is at Camp Pendleton and her youngest son is in Afghanistan. Her grandchildren are growing like weeds.

Today we finally arrived at our oldest daughter's home in the LA area and met Eli. Julianne was right, we fell in love with him in seconds. You can see for yourself.

There will be more photos in the future.

Eli is precious. You are blessed.

I'm a bit confused on the Phoenix meet up with another daughter? So you have three daughters, one in Phoenix, one is California, and one in Oregon... think I got that right.

If so, that was neat you got to meet up with one daughter on the way to the other daughter.

Enjoy your visit with Eli.

Take care, my friend, the birth of little Eli - he is so precious. I am glad you and Maryann had e great trip to see your family.
Lots of miles driving. I read back over your posts I had missed and saw your lovely new fridge.
Thank you for your comments, Jeanette Pauline and I had a lovely afternoon but we all missed Gwen. Glad you enjoyed the jokes.
I don't have a swing in my backyard either. Take care my friend. Regards, Merle.

Indeed, you are blessed. Eli is precious. What a beautiful picture, Jack.

I had no idea your family was spread out all over the world. It must be very difficult at times to worry on so many fronts. I hope they all come home soon.

Enjoy your visit...it looks like you have lots to do!
