Just a quick note to let you know we are finishing our second week in France. The first we cruised the Seine on the Viking Seine. Last Sunday our friends met us at the boat and showed us the Normandy area and brought us to their home in Marsannay le Bois. Tomorrow we will rent a car and travel through Germany to Lille. After a few days there we will fly home.I have taken more than 1,000 photos. It will be a job organizing them. You can expect slide shows around the middle of July.
While here in Marsannay we learned that Hazel, our dear cat had to be put to sleep. She was beginning to suffer. We will miss her very much.
More later.

So sorry about Hazel.
Thanks for checking in from France. I went to Normandy two years ago and it was one of the best trips of my life.
I'm glad that you are enjoying your trip. I was sorry to hear about Hazel. It seems both our pets decided that this was the weekend to go, we had to put Jebo to sleep as well.

Jack,
Normandy is something to see, isn't it? Sorry to hear about Hazel. (And Adrianne's Jebo too.)
Looking forward to seeing your slide show of the trip.
When you return, I will provide you links to the "Echoes of Eddie" not-so-short story so you can get caught up with all the new plot twists and revelations.
Enjoy the trip, condolences regarding Hazel, and a *hug* for Shannon.
Thank you all for your kind comments.
