#318 Dismayed by Good-byes - The Messiah's Handbook

Don't be dismayed by good-byes.
A farewell is necessary before you can meet again.
And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.

One of the true joys of life is meeting others who you can truly call friend. Friendship is what makes the vicissitudes of life so rewarding. It is during times of trouble that our friends step up and let us know that they care. When they leave us we tend to despair. However, I must admit, the internet has made it easier to keep in touch with friends.

I can recall learning about the passing of several close friends. There was both a sadness about it and yet a knowledge that they had finished their life's mission and were going on to the next one. I fully expect to cross paths with them again. If not in this lifetime or the next, then in between lifetimes. (For additional information about this view of existence, use the Michael link.)

I hope that you can all recall at least one person who has enriched your life beyond compare. Someone upon whom you can call, and they will be moving to you before they even know why. It is easy to serve, care and share with these folks.

It is intriguing to speculate upon how these friendships are formed. Is there something about them that resonates with you upon your first meeting? Did you even have to say anything before you knew the depth of the friendship? If you have not had this experience yet, then I would like to plant the seed of possibility. To nurture that seed, begin to serve others, care about others and share the love in your heart. And, if you've a mind to do so, write about it, post it and let us all share in your joy. Or not. Just some thoughts.
