What a great day. There are 31 folks in this class and I learned all of their names as I usually do for each class. It is a very slick trick that brings them together quicker than anything else I could do. I do let them know that their names are in mid-term memory and will be quickly forgotten once the class is over. That does depend on the type of relationship we develop during the class. I do get closer to some than others, but that is part of life.
There was one young lady who did not return after lunch. She seemed like a lost soul to me when I first encountered her. I can only hope that she is successful in accomplishing whatever mission she has set for herself in this life.
I think I mentioned in the last posting that my left shoulder muscles would likely be corrected by today's interaction with the class. You guessed it right, it felt better within the first 30 minutes of the day. What a power positive energy is.
My new iPod and Bose SounDock worked beautifully, too. Now I have to put together a better music grouping. I find that music does a great job before class and during the breaks. Occasionally some of the students ask for livelier music. Thank goodness I have a wide variety of music. Right now I am listening to Eric Clapton. I finally figured out how to use the iPod earphones.
Well, it is time to try to capture some email addresses. I'll try to write more tomorrow evening or Monday morning. ttfn

it's so simple what you said, jack!
positive energy could save the world if people would just adhere to it.
GINGER...you photo of the day. It's ginger. I remember hearing someone say it was and if you google ginger and look at the images, there you go.
I also agree with Karen, positive energy could really make a difference in this world...
Thanks.
