#100 Margaret is still hanging in.

Margaret is doing pretty well. Her heart beat is irregular and there is no way that it will ever get back to a regular beat pattern. She seems to be maintaining reasonably well. Maryann was surprised to see her in her wheel chair and sitting in the hallway outside of her room this morning. She must have been there for some time, because she asked to go back to bed.

She has had a cough and it was thought the she might be retaining fluid in her lungs. An examination with a stethoscope indicated that the cough was caused by fluid in her throat. I take that as a good sign. At least pneumonia is not going to be a problem at this time.

Maryann spent the day with her mother. It's a good thing she likes to read. She is getting ample time to do just that. It is difficult to make any plans at this moment. Maryann is scheduled to come home in a week, but we will have to wait and see.
We just want Margaret to complete her life's mission on her terms.

Thank you all for your comments and good wishes. The extra energy is appreciated too.
