Saturday, October 16 we celebrated Christmas and my birthday. This day we spent with the family. Not only our hosts, but their children and grandchildren. There was much food, wine, gifts and loving friendship shared. It was truly a delightful time.
No visit to France would be complete without enjoying fromage et vin.
That Saturday was a very special day. The candles I was trying to blow out were the trick kind. It was great fun trying to extinguish them. The food, wine and camaraderie were wonderful.
