#756 Wine Country Inn

After our fun time at the races and Pebble Beach we headed North to Napa Valley. We had stayed at the Wine Country Inn on our first visit 12 years ago. We have been back to the area a number of times since then. Maryann thought it might be great for us to revisit the Inn. So here are some photos of the Inn and our room.

This is the sign you will see at the entrance on Lodi Lane.

These are just a few of the exterior photos of the Inn. Next a few of our room which was in the main building. The main building has that circular exterior stairway.
These photos depict room #5. It was very comfortable and restful.

These photos show the area where breakfast is served. It is a nice place to sit and rest at the end of a busy day of wine tasting. The last two photos show the set up for the daily wine tasting complete with noshes. Every day from 4:30 to 6:00 a different winery comes in and provides a tasting of some of their wines. While we were there Mumm Napa poured five different sparkling wines. It was always delightful.

These photos depict the office and wares available for purchase.

In succeeding days photos of some of the wineries will be posted.

I love the California wine country. Used to go all the time. Well before all this boating. It's a great place with lots of things to do. Love the Inn. Beautiful grounds and a beautiful room.

Have a terrific day. :)
