August 15 began as a beautiful, but cloudy day. The previous day at Laguna Seca the sun was shining and the breeze was blowing. At the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance it was overcast and cool. A great day for viewing some very impressive automobiles. Since they are so beautiful I decided to forego the slide show and settle for still shots.
Here is a view of the entrance to the course and one of Monterey Bay.
When we first entered the grounds there was a special display of a variety of concept cars both old and new, on road and on track.
Alfa Romeo
Aston Martin
Bentley
Bugatti
Cadillac
Lotus
Mercedes Benz
Morgan
and the last mark is the Mustang.
After we left this area we went to see the huge presentation of all ages, models, marks of vehicles. There were Alfa Romeos, Cords, Ghia bodied marks, Ferraris, Jaguars, Packards, Pierce Arrows and a whole bunch of awesome vehicles so stay tuned.

There is certainly a sizable chunk of change tied up in those beauties Jack, excellent photos.
Oooh, fantastic cars, Jack. I like the Aston Martin, the Bugatti, the Lotus, the Merc and the Mustang, of course.
Wow, that's a lot of money parked out there. A lot of money.
Have a terrific day. :)
