#702 Leavenworth Trolley & Parker Carousel

On Saturday, May 15th, Maryann and I drove to the C. W. Parker Carousel Museum to determine how the trolley ride was doing this year.  We found out that, due to the weather, the ridership has been sparse.  It is expected to increase as the weather gets warmer and the word is spread.

For all of you who are history buffs, I recommend you take the ride.  It only takes about an hour.  After the ride, spend some time at the museum and pop for the tickets to ride the carousel, too.  It is well worth your time.  Besides, you might recognize the voices on the narration, if you have an opportunity to visit with Maryann and me. (Yeah, I know, it is a shameless bit of advertising. snicker.)
