#654 Can You Find the Crescent Roll?

Today we tried a new bread recipe. We will be enjoying Thanksgiving with friends. We agreed to bring some pies. (Maryann bakes some absolutely wonderful pies.) Maryann selected the bread recipe, crescent rolls. No big deal. Right? Well, I had never tried this recipe before. They are not flaky, but they are tasty.

As you can see, they don't resemble the Pilsbury variety. There are at least two that look like the Pilsbury rolls. Can you find them?

I plan to bake some multi-grain bread to take along too.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for in our wonderful country. However, there is always room for improvement. Let us all do our part for to make those improvements. Baking bread is a very minor way to do so. It is a start.

Crescent rolls are indeed very yummy. Nice and buttery. Excellent choice. We don't buy loaf bread here. Hubby loves to bake so he makes bread each week. It's much better than bread from the store.

Have a terrific day and a very Happy Thanksgiving. :)

Hello Jack ~~ Happy Thanksgiving to you
and all your family. You do well to bake rolls and bread - well done and I am sure your wife is a good cook also.
Glad you enjoyed the jokes and referenced the Baby's first doctor visit on Facebook. I had a great time with Peter for the 5 days he was here, and we visited friends on two days and we all loved catching up with
each other. Take care, Jack.
Very best wishes, Merle.

I had a bread maker for a while... but we literally wore it out making bread and gaining weight.... Nothing like homemade bread and Crescent roll are a favorite w/ lots of butter.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.... You should post a picture of your wife's pies....
