#595 Welcome, Elias Jack

At 6:10 PM, Pacific time, Elias Jack came into the world. He weighed in at 8 lbs 2 oz, and with 20" length. All fingers and toes are accounted for and he seems to be healthy. Although he made it a little difficult because of his positioning, the doctor had to resort to a c-section. Mom, dad and baby are doing fine.

We are scheduled to drive to the West Coast next week. However, if necessary we can be on the road in a relative short period of time. There are some benefits to being semi-retired.

More later as there are details to share.

Being a grandparent is the absolute best. My granddaughter is graduating high school this year. It seems she was a baby just a few short years ago.

Have a terrific day. :)
