#573 A Woman's Poem

Thanks, Vern

He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard,
Not like his mother used to make.
I didn't perk the coffee right.
He didn't like the stew.
I didn't mend his socks the way
his mother used to do.
I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned around & smacked
the shit out of him...
Like his mother used to do.

Hello Jack ~~ This is a great little poem and I just might post it again. Enjoyed the post about chores and no-one likes them, BUT if you are fit and able, things are not too bad.Take it from one who no longer can do many of the usual chores.Loved theJoe Cocker video. Thank you for your comments and also the get well wishes. I am improving (slowly)Thanks too for your always complimentary words about my posts.
Take care, my friend, Regards,Merle
