This is a link sent to me by a friend. You might find it of interest. It takes about 5 minutes of your time. You don't have to have the sound on when you watch it.
Hello Jack ~~ The speed of things is frightening isn't it? Thank you so much for your comments, esp about the Jack Benny story. I enjoyed the link to Snopes. I go there for warnings about e mails etc. But they do more I see. I will put more about that story on my next post. (Hopefully later) Take care and thanks again. Regards, Merle.
Hi, this is Sarah Sofia from Denmark, I've left some comments on your philosphical page, but then realized that the last posts were made in 2006 as it seems... do you still check this site? do you have any plans of continuing with those posts? I really thought they were quite good. ML, Sarah Sofia
Interesting. We humans are getting more info at a faster speed, learn more, eat more, digest more, heck even clean our clothes and the house with more powerful chemicals, yet somehow we seem to have less patience, lower tolerance level, listen less, and perhaps less happy than the previous generations too.
The only videos I watch are Angry Videogame Nerd and "Is it a Good I dea to Microwave This." No socially redeeming value, but it was fun watching the snowglobe blow the door off the microwave.
I like bits of info like that, Jack. Not that I do anything with them, I just like reading them. It shows how far the world has come and how technology has changed everything we knew. Amazing, when one thinks about it.
