One of the places we were anxious to see was Claude Monet's home in Giverny. Maryann has done quite a bit of research about him. She was eager to see the home, the garden and the famous lily pond.
After a short bus ride we were able to take a guided tour of the property. This time I didn't have to be concerned about tickets. They wouldn't let me hold it. Well, that is almost the truth. I was watched quite carefully to insure that it didn't get lost. But, enough of that nonsense.
The gardens are beautiful, but you can judge that for yourself.
