#367 Remember Where You Came From - The Messiah's Handbook

Remember where you came from, where you are going, and why you created the mess you got yourself into in the first place.
You're going to die a horrible death, remember.
It's all good training, and you'll enjoy it more if you keep the facts in mind.

Here is a rather cryptic admonition. I believe that Don Shimoda showed this to Richard when it looked like the local folks were getting a bit upset with some of the things Shimoda was saying and doing. Apparently some Messiahs do things like that. I know I will have to go back and read the book again.

To me the important message is to realize that you get where you are by choices you have made. While it is difficult for some to fathom such a concept, it is also easy to believe that it is all a fiction. The interesting thing about that statement is that it is true.

It is painful to think that we find ourselves in untenable situations because of choices we have made. We tend to search for the cause and effect based upon things that have happened in this lifetime. That comes from only being able to see ourselves in this lifetime.

But, what if we live lots of lifetimes? I don't mean that the person writing this as the physical being identifying himself as Jack K. has been here before. I mean the spiritual being that is currently occupying that entity has been around before and will return until all of its lessons are learned. Pretty far-fetched don't you think? However, it makes some sense to me. It is due to the people I have known and the books I have read.

Since I am a teacher at heart, it makes good sense to keep these thoughts in mind. As far as the horrible death is concerned, I am not sure what to make of that statement. I will ponder that for some time. In the meantime, it makes sense to keep in mind the kinds of things that I have done and still want to do. After all, those of you who take the time to stop by and read this stuff were drawn for some reason. You didn't have to open the blog nor return to it. Thank you for doing both.

Remember to draw those people/things you want, or learn to enjoy/learn from the people/things that you do draw to you. Please continue to...
Serve others, care about those you serve and share the love in your heart.

phos, you might want to consider not making a choice is a choice.

Just a thought.
