#341 Snow

This is nothing compared to the snows that have plagued the Northeast, but it is our first snow for the first day of winter. There is probably around 4-6 inches. It is supposed to clear late tonight and be sunny tomorrow. I will not go out to measure it until the morning. I won't even walk down to the mail box until tomorrow.

Taken with the front door open.
Taken through the front door. (Click on photos to see them enlarged.)

We decided to remain indoors all day. We were able to watch KU basketball. They had a great game beating Miami of Ohio.

We had our 6 inches last weekend. Today it is near 50 degrees with rain on the way tonight. Most of the snow has melted but it was very pretty right afterwards.

Hope we get more for Christmas but doesn't look too promising.

Isn't it fun to hunker in with the one you love when it's cold and snowy outside. It's what I call a *warm and fuzzy* day. May it continue throughout your holidays, Jack. :o)

We got about 3" from the same storm on Friday. It might be enough for an almost-white Christmas.

Widdat, Merry Christmas to you and yours!
