#314 Phase 3 of Redecorating

These are photos of the faux paint finishes being applied to the dining room and great room. All we have to do now is wait for the paint to dry, and put everything back where it belongs. The photos for that will constitute phase 4. I suppose that a more detailed explanation is in order. It will be forthcoming on the next posting.

It's looking good, but what are "faux paint finishes"?

Damn, looking good. I wish I were handy around the house.

Karen - Faux paint in the great room is the application of paint with a sponge or some other similar device on top of a base coat of paint. It will give the appearance of leather on the wall.

lbb - I'm not that handy around the house. I did manage to break two window shade plastic hanging devices. We can't hang them until we get replacement parts. It could take a while.

Bogs, I'm not that handy. I do know how to support the economy and hire professionals.
