#193 The Inner Learning Creature - The Messiah's Handbook

You are led through your lifetime by the inner learning creature, the playful spiritual being that is your real self.

Don't turn away from possible futures before you're certain you don't have anything to learn from them.

You're always free to change you mind and choose a different future, or a different past.

This may be a more difficult message to comprehend. Yet, for me it seems to make some sense. How many of us are ready to even recognize our inner learning creature, or the playful spiritual being? It takes a lot of work. Along the line we have taken on a lot of excess baggage from "well-intended" folks who say they have our best in mind. They seem to know what's best for us. That is really interesting, because they seem to be having difficulty doing what is best for them.

We seem to be willing to accept the inner vision that we are not worthy of much rather than welcome those playful urges that pop up at the most unique times. One of the wonderful aspects of our recent visit with friends in Huntsville, Texas, was the invitation of the inner playful self to come out. There was a lot of child-like humor, energy, work, fellowship abounding.

Whenever possible, put yourself in the company of folks who invite your child to come out and play. If adults don't do it for you, watch young children who have not lost their innocence. They will awaken your inner child like nothing else. You do not have to interact with them, just watch and enjoy.

So, these are just some random thoughts on an interesting concept. Now it is time to get back and watch the Tour de France.
