and I can hardly wait. Being alone for about 10 days is bearable, but it is much nicer when the one you love is with you. I know she is going through a difficult time. Her mother is dying and is not ready to transition. I think the worst part for both of us is to remember how Margaret used to be. To see her now under the complete influence of dementia is heartbreaking.
Her sense of humor was always a delight. While she didn't have much formal schooling, she understood a lot of things about living the good, honorable life. We have been blessed to have her in our life. I will have more to say upon her final transition.
So, until then...
Serve others, care about those you serve and share the love in your heart. That's what Margaret would want. And, who can argue with that?
