#23 Veterans Day

Thank you veterans and active duty personnel. You folks fighting the current battles have one tough job and you do it well. Yeah, I know, there are times when things don't go well. The other side doesn't play be the rules. They don't march in straight lines and wear red coats. They hide behind the rocks, trees, fences and place explosives where they can do the most damage.

What we need to remember, is that you are very resourceful and will do what is necessary to prevail.

Granted there have been some occasions where some folks did not have the proper supervision and took things too far. We cannot afford to stoop to the tactics of an enemy who has no regard for human life. They seem to have managed to relegate those who do not share their religious beliefs to less than human and worthy of slaughter.

I am sure you all would rather be rebuilding the country and not have to do any fighting. Perhaps you will be able to get to that some day soon.

For what it is worth, the folks in my real estate class did take a moment of silence today at 1100 hours to remember you and those who went before. It was our small way to say thank you.
